Define architecture, choose chains, design smart contract topology, scope builds, and oversee delivery for enterprise fintech clients. Senior, client-facing work. $250K–$400K.
What You'll Do
- Design end-to-end blockchain architectures (protocol selection, contract topology, integration patterns)
- Lead technical discovery: translate business requirements into blockchain solutions
- Make chain-selection decisions (Ethereum, Solana, Hyperledger, Polygon, Arbitrum)
- Produce architecture documents, technical specs, and implementation roadmaps
- Oversee engineering delivery (manage Blocknetics engineers on engagements)
- Present architecture decisions to client stakeholders (CTO, VP Eng, compliance)
What We Look For
- 5+ years in blockchain engineering, 2+ years in architecture or lead role
- Multi-chain fluency: built on at least 2 of Ethereum/EVM, Solana, Hyperledger, Corda, Cosmos
- Deep understanding of tradeoffs: public vs. private, L1 vs. L2, monolithic vs. modular
- Enterprise integration patterns (APIs, oracles, off-chain compute, key management)
- Previous consulting, solutions engineering, or pre-sales experience preferred
- Client-facing: can whiteboard architecture for a non-technical exec
