Senior Smart Contract Engineer (Solidity)

Contract or Full-time · 📍 Remote

Write production Solidity for enterprise clients — DeFi lending protocols, RWA tokenization platforms, stablecoin infrastructure, and account abstraction systems. Different client every 2–4 months. $180K–$300K.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy production smart contracts (DeFi, tokenization, payments)
  • Write comprehensive Foundry/Hardhat test suites with >95% coverage
  • Optimize contracts for gas efficiency without sacrificing security
  • Conduct internal security reviews before client delivery
  • Collaborate directly with client engineering teams (embedded, not siloed)
  • Document architecture decisions and interface specifications

Qualifications

  • 3+ years shipping Solidity to mainnet (not just testnet)
  • Deep knowledge of ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155, ERC-4337 standards
  • Foundry or Hardhat proficiency
  • Security-first mindset: attack vectors before features
  • Experience with at least 2 of: DeFi protocols, token standards, access control patterns, upgradeable contracts (UUPS/Diamond)
  • Comfortable working directly with non-technical stakeholders (client-facing)

Smart Contract Security Auditor

Contract or Full-time · 📍 Remote

Audit smart contracts for enterprise clients before mainnet — DeFi protocols handling real TVL, tokenization platforms moving real assets, stablecoin systems processing real payments. $200K–$350K.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive smart contract security audits (Solidity primary, Rust secondary)
  • Identify vulnerabilities: reentrancy, access control flaws, oracle manipulation, flash loan vectors
  • Write clear, actionable audit reports with severity classification
  • Develop and maintain internal security tooling and testing frameworks
  • Perform threat modeling for new protocol architectures
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on remediation

Qualifications

  • Track record of finding real vulnerabilities (audit reports, bug bounty payouts, Code4rena/Sherlock history)
  • Deep understanding of EVM internals, Solidity compiler behavior, and gas-level interactions
  • Proficiency with Slither, Mythril, Foundry fuzzing, Echidna, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of DeFi primitives (lending, AMMs, vaults, oracles) and their attack surfaces
  • Ability to write clear findings with remediation guidance
  • Bonus: formal verification experience (Certora, Halmos)

Blockchain Solutions Architect

Contract or Full-time · 📍 Remote

Define architecture, choose chains, design smart contract topology, scope builds, and oversee delivery for enterprise fintech clients. Senior, client-facing work. $250K–$400K.

Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end blockchain architectures (protocol selection, contract topology, integration patterns)
  • Lead technical discovery: translate business requirements into blockchain solutions
  • Make chain-selection decisions (Ethereum, Solana, Hyperledger, Polygon, Arbitrum)
  • Produce architecture documents, technical specs, and implementation roadmaps
  • Oversee engineering delivery (manage Blocknetics engineers on engagements)
  • Present architecture decisions to client stakeholders (CTO, VP Eng, compliance)

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in blockchain engineering, 2+ years in architecture or lead role
  • Multi-chain fluency: built on at least 2 of Ethereum/EVM, Solana, Hyperledger, Corda, Cosmos
  • Deep understanding of tradeoffs: public vs. private, L1 vs. L2, monolithic vs. modular
  • Enterprise integration patterns (APIs, oracles, off-chain compute, key management)
  • Previous consulting, solutions engineering, or pre-sales experience preferred
  • Client-facing: can whiteboard architecture for a non-technical exec

Contract or Full-time · 📍 Remote

Build on Solana, Substrate, Cosmos, and Rust-based ecosystems for enterprise clients — stablecoin protocols, DAO governance, ZKP privacy layers, and cross-chain infrastructure. $200K–$350K.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop blockchain programs/modules in Rust (Anchor, Substrate pallets, CosmWasm)
  • Write and maintain comprehensive test suites
  • Integrate Rust-based blockchain systems with client infrastructure
  • Optimize for performance: compute units (Solana), weight (Substrate), gas (CosmWasm)
  • Participate in security reviews and threat modeling
  • Document program architecture and interfaces for client teams

Qualifications

  • 4+ years professional Rust development
  • 2+ years building on Solana (Anchor), Substrate, Cosmos (CosmWasm), or Near
  • Understanding of blockchain-specific Rust patterns: account/storage/message models
  • Strong systems fundamentals: memory safety, concurrency, performance optimization
  • Security awareness and testing frameworks proficiency
  • Bonus: ZK circuit development (Arkworks, Halo2), cross-chain bridge experience
